Senator Tinubu, a Political Unifying, Rallying Point — APC Governors

All Progressives Congress (APC) governors, under aegis of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), on Tuesday eulogised the contributions of Senator Oluremi Tinubu to democratic development of the country.

Party celebrates Okorocha’s leadership virtues

The governors described her as a political unifying and rallying point to all.

Also, the forum celebrated and acknowledged the visionary and leadership virtues of former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha.


A statement in Abuja by its Chairman and Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu eulogised the two senators who just celebrated their 60th and 58th birthdays.


The APC governors acknowledged Senator Remi Tinubu’s immense contributions to the country’s democratic struggles and celebrated with the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the entire family on their matriarch’s birthday.

“We acknowledge her contributions to our democratic struggles through her insightful inputs to the processes of party formation and party building as well as within the Senate Chamber. She certainly represents a unifying and rallying point for all.

“Congratulations and happy 60th birthday to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of Jagaban of the Borgu Kingdom.”

Greeting Okorocha, the PGF said: “We in particular wish to acknowledge and commend your leadership, vision and commitment to a united prosperous Nigeria. Under the leadership of our party, APC, we acknowledge your contributions to our team of Progressive Governors as a founding member of the forum and Chairman between November 2013 and May 2019.

“We also recognise your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of managing legislation at the Senate Chamber. Congratulations and happy birthday to Senator Okorocha.”
